Arrive into Tokyo on your scheduled flight.

You will be picked up at the Tokyo airport upon arrival and transferred in a public transportation (limousine bus) to your accommodation for check-in.
Enjoy orientation with our local staff (about 1hour), then go out to enjoy your 1 st night in Tokyo.

After the Breakfast, let’s explore Asakusa district at Sensoji, which was completed in 645AD and is the oldest temple in Tokyo surrounded by beautiful town brimming with tradition. Then, you cannot miss Tokyo Sky Tree with a height of 634 meters, the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world at the time of its completion.
In the afternoon, visit Meiji Shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. Meiji Shrine and the adjacent Yoyogi Park make up a large forested area within the densely built-up city. The spacious shrine grounds offer walking paths that are great for a relaxing stroll.

Then, move to Shibuya Crossing Intersection and Roppongi are to explore the modern culture. You will be navigated by our special guide kit introducing many fun places!

Transfer to Hakone by train & Day Tour.
Take an express train about an hour from Shinjuku station to Hakone National Park, an area known for its geothermal activity and beautiful landscapes. With “Hakone Freepass”, you will take advantage of numerous forms of public transport to explore the area, including buses, boats and a cable car.

Start with a cable car and ropeway ride to Owakudani, an area of colourful, bubbling hot springs, steam vents and more, where you can catch a glimpse of living Earth. Next take another ropeway to nearby Lake Ashi.  From here you’ll board a “pirate ship” to the Moto Hakone port, where you will catch a bus to Hakone-Yumoto station.
In the late afternoon, board the express train back to Shinjuku station.

Leave Tokyo to take a bullet train to the 17th-century Edo town of Takayama (approximately 5 hours by Shinkansen and rapid train). Takayama is a charming town located in the Japanese Alps. The region is famous for its traditional streetscapes, sake breweries and Hida-gyu (Hida wagyu beef).

On arrival, visit the nearby Hida Folk Village – an outdoor museum where the traditional thatched-roof architecture unique to the area has been put on display. Discover the techniques used to build farmhouses that could withstand fierce winters. Each house is like its own self-contained museum, with displays of personal items and traditional tools. For the next two nights, you’ll stay in a traditional ryokan (Japanese inn), where you’ll also get to dine on regional Takayama delicacies mingling with local peoples.

Today, you’ll explore the morning markets that date back 600 years and browse the stalls of seasonal produce. Stalls are set up by local farm women from 6 am every morning. Look out for the unique local style of pickles, bags of miso wrapped in leaves, preserved fish, spices, and the delicious marshmallow treat of owara tamaten.
Let’s visit a local sake brewery to sample and learn about the sake-making process. Gifu’s alpine climate and crystal-clear mountain waters are perfect for creating Japan’s signature liquor. Back in Takayama for dinner, you’ll be able to sample some more of the town’s iconic dishes.

Today you will take a bus about 3-4 hours winding out of the mountains and through lovely forested areas to Kyoto, the cultural capital of Japan.

After arriving in Kyoto, get checked into your hotel before heading out to explore on your own. Walk through small lanes with traditional wooden houses in this cultural stronghold. If you are lucky you may witness a Geisha walking around the neighborhood. This centuries-old Japanese tradition is still kept alive in this amazing city.

Utilizing Kyoto’s efficient public transport, you will start today’s tour with the grand Nijo Castle followed by Ryoan-ji, famous for its UNESCO World Heritage zen gardens, and finally visit the stunning Kinkaku-ji, a temple completely coated in gold.
Next transfer to Sagano to take a walk through its breathtaking bamboo grove, admiring the amazing views of the mountains and imposing valleys. A gentle, 3 km walk will take you to Tenryu- Ji temple, which dates to 1339. Finish your walk by crossing over the famous Togetsukyo Bridge, overlooking at the stunning views of the hozu river.
In the evening join a Samurai-Kembu Show as well as lesson where you can learn the basics of this traditional theatrical dance with swords for a hands-on experience with the ancient art of Japanese warriors.

1 day excursion for Hiroshima/Miyajima with local assistant guide.

Transfer to Hiroshima by Bullet Train. From Hiroshima Station (Miyajimaguchi), you will board a ferry boat to the sacred Miyajima Island, hailed as one of Japan’s most beautiful landscapes. Discover the natural and cultural treasures of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed island including Itsukushima Shrine.

After the lunch, re-board the boat and cruise back to Hiroshima to reflect on the heartbreaking history of the region. Take a moment of contemplation at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum, a historical site near to where the atomic bomb exploded. See exhibitions that articulate the destruction the bomb caused and the city’s regenerative recovery. Finally, to the Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome), a skeletal structure that survived the 1945 attack.

Checking out the hotel, hop on an express train (approximately 1 hours) and make the journey to Osaka – Japan’s third-largest city.

First of all, we recommend you to visit Osaka Castle, whose construction began in 1583 on the ruins of the Ishiyama Honganji Temple. The castle was the largest of its time and played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century.
In the afternoon, let’s explore the downtown of Osaka- an unofficial culinary capital. There are sprawling shopping hubs and tiny backstreets full of restaurants and bars, serving up local delicacies as well as Japan’s answer to fast food. Take a walk through Osaka’s must-to-visit Dotombori district, sampling some street food as you stroll along its main neon-lit canals.
